Our Love story
We have been together for 3 years, with our first encounter occurring on Instagram, February 2021.
He sent me an emoji replying to a story I shared and I simply liked his reply. After February 2021, Sandro wrote me again on Instagram in October 2021. Like people would say nowadays, he “slid in my DM 😂.”
Since then, we talked everyday on Instagram until I decided to give him my number at the end of November 2021. He lived in New Jersey at the time and I lived in Massachusetts with my daughter. He already had plans to come to Massachusetts for Thanksgiving to see his son, so we took the opportunity to spend time together.

Since then, we have been inseparable.
We went back and forth between Massachusetts and New Jersey, visiting each other.
After getting to know each other for 3 months, he came to Massachusetts.
In the last week of December, the 28th to be exact, he took me on a date to a beautiful restaurant in Rhodes Island and asked me to be his girlfriend. We decided that despite living in different states, we would make it work.

And we did.
Since then, the rest has been history!
Proposal Story
The proposal was the perfect plot, completed by Sandro.
His birthday is on September 29th. I decided to throw him a surprise party in 2024, including contacting his family and friends from New York. Sandro, on the other hand, was already planning a wedding proposal since May. His father told him about his surprise party and Sandro thought it was perfect timing.
Fast forward to the party that I planned for him, he took the microphone and started a birthday toast. I was clueless about what was going to happen next.
Little did I know, in front of both family members and close friends, Sandro got on one knee and said the most beautiful, and heartfelt, words I ever heard.
He ‘popped the question’ and asked me to marry him.
The night became an unforgettable one—a dual celebration—a birthday and an engagement party.
